The St. Anthony Hotel

The St. Anthony Hotel opened in 1909 as a luxury downtown hotel and was expanded with major additions in the 1920s. Its architecture combines Beaux-Arts and Renaissance Revival elements and the hotel has hosted numerous notable guests and civic events. Located near the River Walk and Alamo Plaza, it has undergone restorations to preserve historic interiors and public spaces.
