James Whitcomb Riley Museum Home

The James Whitcomb Riley Museum Home is a preserved Queen Anne–style house where poet James Whitcomb Riley lived and which now operates as a house museum. The late-19th-century residence contains period rooms and many original furnishings associated with Riley's life and career. The house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and interprets the poet's domestic life and work for visitors. It is located north of downtown Indianapolis in the Meridian-Kessler/Fall Creek area.
