Nichols House Museum (Rose Standish Nichols)

The Nichols House Museum preserves the Beacon Hill home of landscape designer and peace activist Rose Standish Nichols (1872–1960). The house contains original family furnishings, garden plans, and archives that document Nichols's work on garden design and her involvement in the early 20th-century peace and women's suffrage movements. The museum offers guided interpretation of domestic life and reform-era networks in Boston's elite circles.
