Brevard-Macon House

The Brevard-Macon House, also known as the Wharton House, is a historic residence located in Woodbury, Tennessee. Constructed in 1896 for flour mill owner William Ferrell Brevard, the house showcases the elegant Queen Anne architectural style. In 1926, it was acquired by E. L. Macon, brother of the famous country music artist Uncle Dave Macon. This notable house has been recognized for its historical significance and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since December 23, 1994, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
