Pike County Hospital

Pike County Hospital, also known as the Smith-Barr Manor, is a historic building located in Louisiana, Missouri. Constructed between 1927 and 1928, this four-story structure showcases Classical Revival architecture with its striking red brick and stone facade. Notable features include a decorative stone entrance and intricate terra cotta ornamentation. After serving as a hospital, it was transformed into a nursing home in 1975. The building was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
