Walnut Street Theatre (oldest continuously operating theater)

Walnut Street Theatre, established in 1809, is widely recognized as the oldest continuously operating theatre in the United States. The theatre has operated in its current 19th-century building since the mid-1800s and has hosted plays, musicals, and touring companies across two centuries.
