Presidio of San Francisco - Presidio Officers' Club

The Presidio of San Francisco was a U.S. Army post from 1776 until its transfer out of military use in 1994; the Presidio Officers' Club at 50 Moraga Avenue served as a central social and administrative building for the post. During its period as an active military installation, parts of the Presidio and its facilities were restricted-access for military personnel and official business. The Officers' Club building has since been rehabilitated and now serves as a museum and visitor center under federal and trust management, with some areas preserved under historic-protection controls.
