Odd Fellows Building (Gary, South Dakota)

The Odd Fellows Building is a historic two-story brick structure located on Main Street in Gary, South Dakota. Built in 1889 by the local chapter of the International Order of Odd Fellows, it served as a venue for both fraternal meetings and local town gatherings. The building features a decorative corbeled cornice, a retail plate-glass front on the ground floor, and sash windows with stone lintels on the second floor. Over the years, the ground floor has hosted various commercial enterprises and even a museum. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976, recognized for its architectural significance.
