Ocean Beach Municipal Pier

Ocean Beach Municipal Pier, completed in 1966 on the site of earlier historic piers, is one of the longest concrete piers on the U.S. West Coast and a long-standing Ocean Beach landmark. The pier supports fishing and sightseeing and includes shore-side amenities such as the Ocean Beach Pier Cafe; it is maintained by the City of San Diego. The structure and adjacent beachfront are central to Ocean Beach's coastal recreation history and community events.
