Tennessee State Museum

The Tennessee State Museum opened a new building at this site in 2018 and serves as the state's official museum for Tennessee history. The museum's exhibits cover prehistoric Tennessee through modern times and include material culture, documents, and rotating special exhibitions. It is located adjacent to Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park and hosts educational programs and public events.
