Willemoe's House

Willemoe's House, located in the heart of Aarhus, Denmark, is a stunning example of Gothic Revival architecture designed by German architect Gustav Ludolf Martens in 1858. Originally serving as the residence and office for the bailif of Hads and Ning Hundred, it later became the Bishop's House for the Diocese of Aarhus. The building features distinctive elements such as a large bay window and a striking roof lantern added in 1987, which enhances its historical charm. Today, it houses the Danish non-profit Folkeligt Oplysningsforbund (FOF), making it a point of interest for both tourists and researchers exploring Aarhus's architectural heritage.
