Luther Store

The Luther Store, located at 160 Old Warren Road in Swansea, Massachusetts, is a historic site dating back to 1815. This 2+1⁄2-story brick building features a distinctive saltbox profile and retains many original fixtures, including mahogany counters and storage drawers. Once the economic hub of Swansea, it served as a store, post office, and library until 1903, operated by the Luther family. Now a local history museum managed by the Swansea Historical Society since 1941, the store was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978, making it a significant attraction for tourists and researchers interested in local history and architecture.
