55 Bishopsgate is an approved skyscraper set to rise in the City of London, reaching a height of 269 metres (883 ft), making it the second-tallest building in the area upon completion. Designed by the architectural firm Arney Fender Katsalidis, this impressive structure will feature 63 storeys and is backed by investment firm Schroders. Despite facing objections from Historic England, the project received planning permission on 21 July 2023, and it also includes a complementary 22-storey building.
