Murder and death of Tupac Shakur at University Medical Center

Rapper Tupac Shakur was shot in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996 and was transported to University Medical Center of Southern Nevada for treatment. He died from his gunshot wounds at the hospital on September 13, 1996. The homicide has never been officially solved and remains an open investigation.
