Carpenters' Hall

Carpenters' Hall was built by the Carpenters' Company and completed in 1770; its Georgian meeting hall is noted for its 18th-century woodworking and assembly-room architecture. It served as the meeting place of the First Continental Congress in 1774. The building is designated a National Historic Landmark and remains owned by the Carpenters' Company as a museum and meeting space.
