Calvinium

The Calvinium, also known as the Salle de la Réformation, was a significant event venue in Geneva, Switzerland, located at the intersection of Rue du Rhône and Boulevard Helvétique. Constructed in honor of John Calvin by Jean-Henri Merle d'Aubigné, it hosted notable events including the first assembly of the League of Nations on November 15, 1920, and the World Economic Conference in May 1927. The building was demolished in 1969 and replaced by a structure that now serves as the South African consulate. For 42 years, it also housed the Illés Relief before being repurposed for the League of Nations.
