George W. Bush Presidential Center

The George W. Bush Presidential Center opened in 2013 on the campus of Southern Methodist University and houses the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum along with the Bush Presidential Center Policy Institute. The center presents museum exhibits on the Bush presidency, hosts public lectures and civic programs, and runs initiatives related to education, global health, and economic growth. Its location on the SMU campus has made it a site for local and national cultural and policy events.
