Linganore Farm

Linganore Farm is a historic home and farm complex in Frederick, Maryland, featuring a large two-story brick house from the 1850s-60s with Greek Revival and Italianate influences. The site includes ruins of a smokehouse, a stone root cellar, and a secondary house from the early 19th century. Notably, it was once home to the Linganore Mill by the Monocacy River and was transformed into the Linganore Hills Inn resort in 1891. The property was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2000, making it a significant destination for tourists and researchers interested in American history and architecture.
