Heard Museum

The Heard Museum was founded in 1929 by Dwight and Maie Heard and is dedicated to the art, history, and cultures of Indigenous peoples of the Americas. Its permanent collection includes thousands of pieces of Native American art and artifacts, supplemented by rotating exhibitions and educational programs. The museum organizes signature events such as the annual Heard Museum Guild Indian Fair & Market, a long-running marketplace and cultural event.
