Christopher C. Kraft Jr. Mission Control Center (Johnson Space Center)

The Christopher C. Kraft Jr. Mission Control Center is located at NASA's Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center and has been the operational center for U.S. human spaceflight missions since the 1960s. Controllers in Mission Control directed Apollo, Space Shuttle, and International Space Station operations and managed the response to the Apollo 13 in-flight emergency. The center remains an active, staffed flight control facility for NASA missions and is housed within JSC's campus.
