Toodyay Court House

The Toodyay Court House, located in Toodyay, Western Australia, is a historic building constructed in 1896, showcasing Federation Free Classical architecture. Originally serving as a courthouse, it has been repurposed as municipal offices since the 1950s. The site has a rich history, including its use as a convict hiring depot and the location of Toodyay's first public hospital. The building is recognized for its heritage value, being classified by the National Trust and included in the state heritage register. Archaeological excavations in 2010 uncovered foundations of the convict depot, enhancing its historical significance.
