Meyercrones Stiftelse

Meyercrones Stiftelse is a historic building located in central Roskilde, Denmark, just north of the iconic Roskilde Cathedral. Founded in the early 18th century by Christiane Meyercrone, the widow of a Danish envoy, the building originally served as a residence for needy widows. It features Late Neoclassical architecture, characterized by its two-story structure and half-hipped red tile roof, surrounded by a charming garden. The site has undergone several transformations, including a significant rebuild in 1933, and today it is managed by the Roskilde Domsogns Menighedsråd.
