Langer Stall

The Langer Stall, or Long Stables, was a historic timber-framed riding school and drill hall in Potsdam, constructed in 1734 under Frederick William I of Prussia. Although it was largely destroyed during World War II, the gateway facade designed by Georg Christian Unger for Frederick the Great remains as a testament to its architectural significance. Visitors to Potsdam can appreciate this surviving feature, which reflects the grandeur of the era and the city's rich history.
