Sandwich, also known as the Old Customs House, is a historic home in Urbanna, Virginia, built around 1758. This unique three-bay brick structure is set into a steep hill, showcasing 1.5 stories on the west side and 2.5 stories on the east. The property features a formal boxwood garden and several garden buildings, adding to its charm. Renovated in the 1930s and purchased by Andrew Jackson Montague, Sandwich is recognized as one of the oldest buildings in the Urbanna Historic District and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008, making it a significant site for tourists and researchers alike.
