Mexican Heritage Plaza – Día de los Muertos ofrendas

The Mexican Heritage Plaza is a city-operated cultural center that hosts annual Día de los Muertos events featuring community ofrenda altars, ritual performances, and procession-style programming honoring ancestors. Each year the Plaza's indoor and outdoor spaces are used to display altars, host ritual dance and music, and facilitate workshops on traditional ofrenda-making. The Plaza serves as a focal point for San Jose's Mexican and Latinx cultural ritual observances.
