Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park - statewide granite map and memorial features

Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park, opened in 1996 to commemorate Tennessee's bicentennial, contains a 200-foot granite map of the state that shows topography and major rivers. The park includes the Court of Three Stars, a veterans memorial dedicated to Tennessee's contributions in wars, and an amphitheater used for public programs. It is adjacent to the Tennessee State Capitol and is designed to interpret the state's history through landscaping, monuments, and interpretive panels.
