Turner Hill

Turner Hill is a historic estate in Ipswich, Massachusetts, designed by architect William Rantoul and completed in 1903 for Charles and Ann Proctor Rice. The estate showcases intricate plaster molding and woodwork, particularly in its reception hall, which features wildlife motifs reminiscent of Scottish designs. After serving as a spiritual retreat for the Missionaries of La Salette following Rice's death in 1943, it has been transformed into a golf club, offering club facilities within the main mansion. The estate is listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1982, making it a notable destination for tourists and researchers interested in architectural history and heritage.
