Fair Meadows (Creswell, Maryland)

Fair Meadows was a historic Second Empire-style house built in 1868 in Creswell, Maryland, for Clement Dietrich, the last owner of Harford Furnace. Known for its unique architectural features, including a mansard roof and intricate interior designs, the estate also housed several outbuildings. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 but suffered extensive fire damage in 2020 and was ultimately demolished by 2022. The site offers a glimpse into the region's rich history and architectural heritage.
