Casa Grande (New Almaden) – Almaden Quicksilver

Casa Grande is a large historic adobe structure associated with the 19th-century New Almaden mercury (quicksilver) mine and served as a central building for mine operations and housing. The building and surrounding mining district are part of Almaden Quicksilver County Park and reflect one of California's earliest and most productive mercury mining operations. The site is significant for its industrial and cultural history connected to early California mining.
