Camera Obscura at Lands End

The Camera Obscura is a large optical device housed in a round building near the Cliff House at Lands End that projects live, 360-degree images of the surrounding coastline onto a viewing surface inside. Installed at its present site in the mid-20th century, it operates as a working demonstration of pre-photographic optical technology and is open to the public at scheduled times.
