Colonel Fletcher Building

The Colonel Fletcher Building, located at 602–632 Broadway in Downtown San Diego, is a historic site that showcases the city's retail evolution. Constructed between 1906 and 1908 by Colonel Ed Fletcher and architect Edward Quayle, the building originally housed the Barnett-Stine Co. department store. After several changes in ownership, including Holzwasser's department store and the Owl Drug Company, the building underwent significant renovations in 2005 and 2008.
