Broomhall House

Broomhall House, located in Fife, Scotland, is an 18th-century architectural gem and the family seat of the Earls of Elgin. Originally built in 1702 by Sir William Bruce, it underwent significant renovations by notable architects including John Adam and Thomas Harrison, who added a distinctive Grecian flair. The house features a striking semi-circular bay adorned with Coade Stone panels and was intended to showcase the Elgin Marbles, which were controversially acquired by the 7th Lord Elgin.
