H. D. Poindexter Houses

The H. D. Poindexter Houses, located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, are a remarkable pair of historic homes that showcase the architectural beauty of the Queen Anne style. Built between 1892 and 1894, the larger house features intricate verandahs, balconies, and medieval-like chimneys, while the smaller Victorian cottage dates back to around 1874. Both were constructed by prominent merchant Henry Dalton Poindexter and were relocated to their current site in 1977.
