Tal-y-coed Court

Tal-y-coed Court is a stunning Victorian country house located in Llanvihangel-Ystern-Llewern, Monmouthshire, Wales, built between 1881 and 1883 for the notable antiquarian Joseph Bradney. This Grade II* listed building showcases the Queen Anne style, making it one of the earliest examples of this architectural style in Wales. The house features a striking red brick facade with elegant ashlar dressings and a large hipped roof adorned with lofty dormer windows. The interior remains largely intact and is of exceptional quality. The surrounding gardens and parkland, designed by Bradney, are also recognized for their historical significance, being listed as Grade II on the Cadw/ICOMOS Register.
