Hatch Memorial Shell (Charles River concert shell)

The Hatch Memorial Shell is an outdoor band shell on the Charles River Esplanade that serves as a permanent stage for large public concerts. It is the traditional site of the Boston Pops Orchestra's annual Fourth of July concert and associated fireworks viewing. The shell is a purpose-built performance installation that hosts season-long concerts, festivals, and civic events on the Esplanade.
