B. Ray and Charlotte Woods House

The B. Ray and Charlotte Woods House, located in Katy, Texas, is a notable historic site built in 1951 in the ranch-style architectural design by Wylie W. Vale. Originally constructed for Ray Woods, a lumberyard owner, the house was recognized for its historical significance and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004. Despite its rich history, the house suffered severe flood damage in 2017 and was ultimately demolished in 2020. This site reflects the architectural and cultural heritage of mid-20th century Texas.
