Tartine Bakery (original Mission location)

Tartine Bakery's original location is at 600 Guerrero Street in the Mission District and is widely credited with popularizing artisanal bread and pastries in the city. Founded by Chad Robertson and Elisabeth Prueitt, the bakery is known for its country loaves, morning buns, and a daily queue of customers. Tartine expanded to additional locations, but the Guerrero Street shop remains a neighborhood landmark and production site.
