Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University

Founded in 1812, the Academy of Natural Sciences is one of the oldest natural-history museums and research institutions in the Americas. Its public exhibits include dioramas, dinosaur fossils, live animal exhibits, and extensive scientific collections used for research. The institution is affiliated with Drexel University and runs education and outreach programs for the Philadelphia region.
