Hitsville U.S.A. - Motown's original studio

Hitsville U.S.A. at 2648 West Grand Boulevard was the original headquarters and recording studio founded by Berry Gordy in 1959. It is widely recognized as the birthplace of the Motown Sound and includes Studio A where numerous landmark recordings were produced. The building now operates as the Motown Museum, preserving original studio equipment, records, and artifacts documenting Motown's history and artists.
