Atlas at Rockefeller Center

Atlas is a large bronze sculpture depicting the Titan bearing a celestial sphere, installed in front of the International Building at Rockefeller Center. It was installed in 1937 as part of Rockefeller Center's integrated program of public art. The statue faces Fifth Avenue and has become an iconic image associated with the complex.
