Hofheinz Pavilion - home court of Phi Slama Jama

Hofheinz Pavilion (now Fertitta Center) on the University of Houston campus served as the home arena for the 1980s 'Phi Slama Jama' Houston Cougars teams, which featured players such as Hakeem Olajuwon and Clyde Drexler. Those Cougars teams were notable for their dunking, athletic style and reached multiple NCAA Tournament Final Fours during the early 1980s. Hofheinz Pavilion hosted the Cougars' regular-season and postseason home games during that era.
