Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs (Tule Springs archaeological area)

Floyd Lamb Park is located within the Tule Springs area of north Las Vegas, adjacent to the Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument, where archaeological surveys and paleontological finds document prehistoric human activity and Ice Age fauna. Researchers have recovered artifacts and evidence of ancient campsites in the Tule Springs region, linking the landscape to both prehistoric Native American use and Pleistocene-era fossils. The park and surrounding protected areas conserve portions of this dense concentration of archaeological and paleontological resources.
