Witte Museum

The Witte Museum, founded in 1926, is located in Brackenridge Park and was established to interpret the natural history, culture, and science of Texas. Its original museum building and subsequent additions reflect early- and mid-20th-century museum architecture in San Antonio and are sited within a historic park landscape. The museum's campus contributes to the architectural and cultural history of the city's northside museum district.
