Tropicana Las Vegas (1957 Strip resort)

Tropicana Las Vegas opened in 1957 and is one of the surviving mid-20th-century resorts on the Las Vegas Strip. Its original casino, hotel tower, and porte-cochère illustrate postwar resort-hotel construction oriented to automobile access and roadside visibility. The property has undergone multiple renovations while retaining elements of its mid-century resort infrastructure.
