William Elliott White House

The William Elliott White House, also known as Elliott White Springs House, is a historic two-story brick home located near Fort Mill, South Carolina. Built in 1831, it showcases Federal design elements and features an elegant portico. The house has undergone several expansions, including the addition of wings in 1922 and 1936, and a greenhouse/pool in 1955. Notably, it is believed to have hosted the last full meeting of the Cabinet of the Confederate States of America. This historic site was the residence of Elliott White Springs, a prominent textile magnate and writer in the early 20th century, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987, making it a significant destination for tourists and researchers alike.
