Fort Worth Water Gardens urban plunge pools

The Fort Worth Water Gardens, designed by Philip Johnson and opened in 1974, are an engineered urban landscape feature in downtown Fort Worth. The site contains distinct water elements, including terraced pools and a dramatic descending 'Active Pool' with cascading water steps. The Water Gardens are a notable man-made topographic anomaly contrasted against the surrounding street grid.
