R.R. Donnelley and Sons Co. Calumet Plant

The R.R. Donnelley Printing Plant, also known as the Calumet Plant, is a historic site in the United States, built between 1912 and 1929. Originally designed for the RR Donnelley printing company, it features a fireproof structure with reinforced concrete, making it an engineering marvel of its time. After closing in 1993, it was transformed into the Lakeside Technology Center, the first and largest planned carrier hotel in the U.S. Today, it houses major tenants like the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and Equinix.
