Paramount Theatre

The Paramount Theatre, opened in 1928, is a historic downtown Seattle theater known for its ornate Spanish Baroque interior and atmospheric auditorium. Designed by architect B. Marcus Priteca, it originally served as a vaudeville and movie palace and today presents concerts, Broadway touring shows, and civic events. The theater is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and preserves much of its original decorative architecture.
