Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture

Fort Mason Center occupies former U.S. Army waterfront facilities and was redeveloped as an arts and cultural campus in the Marina/Embarcadero area. The center houses galleries, performance venues, artist studios, and nonprofit organizations and hosts public programs and festivals. Its adaptive reuse of historic piers and buildings is a notable feature of the neighborhood's cultural life.
