Chrysler House

Chrysler House is a historic 23-story skyscraper located in the heart of Downtown Detroit, originally constructed between 1910 and 1912. Known for its Neoclassical architectural style, the building features a distinctive U-shaped floor plan and was initially named the Dime Building after its primary tenant, the Dime Savings Bank. Over the years, it has undergone several name changes and renovations, with a significant $40-million renovation completed in 2002. In 2012, it was renamed Chrysler House after Chrysler Group LLC moved some of its offices into the building. Today, it serves as an office building with retail space on the ground floor, making it a notable landmark in Detroit's Financial District.
